Where to find a Metal Slope Back Tender Shell?
Posted by BobbyDing on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 12:45 AM

Hey all,

I'm looking for a metal shell for a Lionel slope back tender for a special project. Just the shell. Like the ones used on the old bell tenders. I've seen full bell tenders on ebay, but the $$$ is out of my range. Besides, I don't want to dismantle a valuable piece just for the shell. Does Lionel (or MTH maybe) still make anything that I might be able to order just the die cast shell?

Thanks,

Bobby

Hello Bobby!    Try the Train Tender Website & Jeff Kane should be able to help you out as he went to both Lionel & Madison Hardware Auctions & he has very courteous & helpful service. Take Care.
