I'm new to the forum and would like to introduce my self. I collect A.C Gilbert American flyer, Lionel, Marx and MTH. I like all electric trains from any era, would like to get into standard guage someday with lionel and MTH reproductiones. I guess I would also have to include that I'm starting to collect old movie projectors to.

Welcome aboard! Norm Muelleman here...growing up, I had Lionel and HO scale stuff. It all got sold off or destroyed..thanks to that wonderful thing called a divorce..sigh..

Anyway, I started collecting Lionel again mostly for decoration..around our game room. I'm a retired cop..and I just started working for Union Pacific RR as a conductor. Well, now I'm starting a shelf railroad around the perimeter of the room..with a possible HO layout in the future..

Great guys here! Great answers to questions! As for me..I ask more then I answer lol..but if you have any questions about real trains...skydiving..or police work..I'm your guy!

Rick  Sign - Welcome [#welcome]  I found this forum a year ago, have made some good friends in the shorttime I've been involved.  The previous comments are all true.

You might want to check out a little history before it's lost

- Look at the Coffee Pot thread, say about page 1175 or so (click on the last page, then go backwards a little.

 - I had also started a thread called Thank You, it is probably on page 3 or 4 now of the menu, you will see what kind of guys hang out here.

Happy New Year

Don

Hi Rick

ARe you collecting 2 or 3 rail American Flyer? WE have several sets of 3 rail American Flyer at our museum.

What part of the country do you live in? Maybe you would like to add that your profile so we will be able to remember.
