Doc: They have been having website problems for the past few months. I will PM you the e-mail address of an MTH customer service rep I have. She has been real good at replies.

I sent mine in 3 weeks ago to try and beat the xmas rush and no reply.  Is there another way to contact them?  I thought the website was dicey and had to try a couple of times for it to go through.

I sent them a question about 3 weeks ago...still waiting for an answer.

Also factor in the fact that their website has been very iffy lately.  The may not have recived the message at all if you used the form on their website.Sigh [sigh]

Wes: I was factoring in a bunch of people who bought or received new MTH trains for XMAS, and for whatever reason, didn't know how to work a feature or had a problem figuring things out. I would allow more than 4 days for a reply.

I would suspect that right now they are flooded with questions about their products, so I wouldn't expect a fast e-mail response. Is there an MTH service center located near to where you live? Is it a Proto 1 or Proto 2 loco? Model number? What problems?

MTH repair

I have a RK cab forward with several problems.  I don't think that it ever ran correctly.  I sent a note through the MTH site for repairs and never heard back from them.  Is there a trick to this?  I would think that that would be the best place to send the item to.

Thanks
