Don, This sounds plenty normal to me. I lubricate my engines after a few hours of running also, its just normal maintainence. The armature shaft is the fastest rotating part on PW engines, so it makes sense that the oil will get vaporized or slung off over a period of time on tyhe fast moving part. Unless it looks worn (hole oversize), then it ok. Just keep it up and all will be good.
