Jake, What brand of track are you using?

I think you could do it but you might need a transition piece at each end of your 3 ft section. We did this with our travel layout using 31 and 42 radius. You could always use a return loop on the centermost track which would save a little space.

Layout Quesiton

Howdy all, & Merry Christmas to ya! I have a layout question. Is it possible to place a 55 inch X 6ft area roughly 12 feet apart, and connect 3 or 4 loops with the middle section only 3 feet wide? It would be an hour glass shape more or less. Is this possible? Anyone have any plans for something like this? I realize it would take 8 rows of track in this 3 ft area, just wondered if the return from each loop is possible? Thanks, Jake
