Elliot Feinberg and I just talked.  He is not OK.  He is having a place removed from his arm that is a result of a cancerous spot removed earlier.  Elliot was one of the firsts on the CTT forum and others [MR and Gardens].  Elliot encouraged me to start the Coffee Pot as a continous thread.  Earlier I had created a new one each morning.  Elliot did the big layout that was in the Mall of Americas.  Elliot is featured on sevral of Tom McComus videos on train layouts.  Special prayers for Elliot.

To be sure! We were just talking about him in the office last week - it had been a while since anyone remembered seeing a posting from him. My thoughts and prayers are with him!

Sure will put him on the prayer list. I remember the great pictures Chief took of him & his layout. Some will remember his huge helix. Hope he recovers soon. Thanks, John

All the best to Elliot. Never met the man, but I remember his contributions here and I have the TM videos which I watch every now and then, particularly during the holidays.

Wishing him a speedy and full recovery.

Hope Elliot gets better! He sure is a nice guy, he has done so much for me and many others on the board!

He even gave me an "R" tranny when I found out my 40 watt starter set one couldnt handle postwar accesories that I got from Dr. Fu. Its still working great, Its a nice transformer, I have replaced the cord and put new lenses on it.

Big Boy very kindly helped me out on several of my earliest posts. He has been added to our family's prayer list.

Yes I remember BigBoy.And I'll remember him in my prayers.I have been wondering about him lately.Prayer is a great medicine. This exact time last year my Dad was very sick in the hospital and had two operations. He had complications from one of the surgerys and landed right back in the hospital. He has recovered now nicely and is as mean as he ever was.But prayer and doctors guided by God,got him though it.

To all,

Thanks Chief for the update.  I remember some of Bigboy's posts and the article on his layout in the Mall of America.  It is too bad that did not draw the business it needed to keep going.  I hope all turns out for him.  For the newer members to the "coffeepot", we have a powerful group of prayer partners.  I know from personal experience.  Count me in on the list.

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana

Thanks for the update on Big Boy but this is the kind of news we all deplore. I will be praying for your surgery to be successful and your health to be restored as quickly as possible.

Prayer combined with the right mental outlook work together to prepare a person for whatever life brings our way. Big Boy we will keep you covered with our prayers and you keep your head up and looking down the tracks!

Warmest Regards from Alaska!
