I would love to see some new Prewar items brought back. The 259E set (I think thats what is was) for 2006 Volume II catalog unfortunately, did not catch my attention.

If they brought back the 226E/2226WX, I would be all over that like butter on french bread!

I think Lionel puts the catalogs out every 6 months so it should be around February sometime?  But with their backlogs probably March or April?

Keith, from what I have seen around the 'Net there will indeed be some more new tinplate in the next Lionel catalog - but I don't know exactly what it will be. Should be interesting. Smile [:)]

The stuff I want from their last catalog won't be available until May of next year, so I'm sure not in a hurry to see any new catalog.

Jim A!     I bet the Chief is waiting for the "Roseyville Gritsmill Express set" Pulled by a Norfolk Southern GP-38 with Command Control, Smoke, & Ditch Lights priced around $300.00 MSRP.Wink [;)]Big Smile [:D]Clown [:o)] I'm Hoping for more Prewar Trains(Conventional) Specifically the 1688 Freight/Passenger Sets. Although, I'll be happy if they come out with other Prewar Trains also like a 249E w/ Waffle Top Tender & more of the 600 Freight/Passenger Cars using the 261E Tooling for the 249E this can now be done & made conventional also. Lionel- I hope you're reading thisSmile [:)] Take Care all.

Hogwarts Express. I hope it will run on O36 curves and be reasonably priced ($300)

I realize that the vol. 2 for 2006 came out not too long ago, but I am still hoping that Lionel will come out with a PRR Decapod or Mikado.  That would just about finish my loco needs and my bank account.  What are you hoping for?  Have a great Holiday all!
