Dying Art Form?

Along with other interesting tidbits I wasn't aware of:

Lionel Trains Article

I think this article has more misinformation from the source than from the writer this time.

Thats what I am, and other younger guys are here for. Someone has to carry the torch from tghe older repairmen. I had realized this too about a year ago. I hope some other guy can take over for me though when I get older.

Lots of misinformation, but that's kind of standard for a lot of reporting being done today.

My guess is that a lot of reporters--particularly younger ones--go to places like Wikipedia for background information instead of digging through far more reliable sources.

But I also agree that a lot of the erroneous information in this article appears to come from the subject himself, and that's kind of surprising, not to mention disappointing.  I love that "worth a million dollars" bit.  Not in his wildest dreams!  I just hope that came from the reporter and not the subject, because such a statement would shoot his credibility to pieces.
