I got one today at the hobby store in Lancaster, Ohio. I was thinking of giving one to the Chief for Christmas this year, instead of the autographed historical photo of Billy Sherman.

That is SO giving. Chief will be shivering with excitement. He will put it on his layout and take pictures. He will frame a picture of it and hang it on the wall. He will post pictures of it. He will send you a Thank You card for it. He will have a wonderful Christmas.

I was thinking maybe Roy would like one too, especially since he is from Texas.
Wes, yes the water tower is great, too! When the Buckeyes win the 2006 National Championship, I'm going to ask MTH for an upgrade to the sign!
BTW, another shop you may enjoy visiting is in Lancaster, Ohio - Smoke Stack Hobbies. It was there where I purchased the sign.
My wife says the sign would be great on top of a cake!
I don't know if I have been there or not. It's been many years, if I had. Lancaster used to be considered "The City south of Columbus" when I lived in Athens. We did most of our big shopping either their, or in Parkersburg, WV.
Mel at M S Trains is supposed to call me when the water tower and sign come in. I want this one, and the updated one that you get (hopefully).
Now it that was an operational billboard with roling pictures of the the stadium, then that would be icing on the cake.

I could uses it for a fire scene. LOL
I have been to the smoke stack in Lancaster a few times I bought a bunch of Gargraves track from him. The last time I was there his shop was so full of stuff you could hardly move in there. Been to M&S trains a lot as my old dentist is in the same strip mall but never bought anything due to lack of funds, maybe after Chirstmas I can afford the Buckeye train. Is it DCS or conventional?
There are a few shops in and around Columbus but we lost one the Blue caboose is no more :^( he will still be selling his stuff at shows till it is all gone. By the way Lancaster has just about any store you would find in Columbus and for the Rebs Lancaster is the home town of Gen. Sherman I forgot what street the historical home is on.

Another autographed historical photo of Billy Sherman is heading your way for Christmas again this year. In fact, I was thinking this would look good in your train room:

The Buckeye train is conventional, with DCS compatability, I guess.
It's a shame about the blue caboose. It's located about 1 block from another large train store (The trains station), so maybe that is why.

The train station has a limited amount of lionel and mostly caters to HO and N crowd. Both shops were very popular and their closeness drew more customers as if one did not have what you were looking for the other did. I heard the rent for the Blue Caboose was getting to high. The Blue caboose was the closest shop that supported S scale/gauge and will be sorely missed.

<sigh>...perhaps there should be a sticky about the "bad Protosounds boards" thing? The ones people are having trouble with are Protosounds 1 boards. Protosound 2 locos are pretty much trouble-free.
