I had one in TMCC that I sold, it was a Penn.and my layout is CB&Q, replaced it with an Burlington 0-8-0.  It was a strong little engine and a lot of fun.  I don't know if it was unique to my unit but it blew smoke rings.

The one mod. I had to make was a capacitor across the tender coupler, it would open crossing the one Gargraves switch I have on the layout.

I have one that I bought as part of the K-line club a few years ago.  Used to run it a lot, but haven't run it lately as I have converted almost exclusively to DCS and TMCC.  It ran fine in conventional and I don't recall any pickup problems at switches which can sometimes be a problem with short engines.

I saw the MTH review somewhere on there 0-4-0, somehow I came across the k-line version. Anyone have one of the k-line engines? How do they preform, any problems? Its a lot cheaper than the MTH, so I can afford one or two of these engines.
