Way to go Dep. Youve a fine set there at an unbelievable price. That set was originally $399. Enjoy!

Cool! I have some NYC locos that they will go with. The add-on set of 2 cars is 29004. I have a bid in. Will see what happens.

Just reread the listing. They are scale length O-42 min. radius. Probably 21" in length. And I do think these were the ones to go with the Commodore.

Thanks guys. I also found out there are two additional cars for the set. The seller says that the box doesn't specify what gauge, but it does say minimum radius 0-42. So I suspect they are 0-Gauge.

They are from 1997. Probably went with a Hudson or Commodore Vanderbilt. Greenbergs guide says $345 for new. There is a reserve on the ones you are looking at. I'd guess at least $200-250

I see references to them on the Internet as Madison cars.  If that is what they are, they will run on O27 (I run mine on O27!); but some folks might consider them too long to look good.

Urgent question on NYC passenger set
Posted by Deputy on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 3:50 PM

I am watching this on E-Bay and would like ANY details I can get on it.

Lionel 6-19079 NYC Heavy Weight Passenger Asst

Is it 0-Scale or 027? What would be a good price on it? Are there any add-on cars for this set? There is less than 2 hours left before the bidding expires so I need a reply before then.

Thanks in advance to all you experts Big Smile [:D]
