1948 edition of the Freedom Train was pulled by Alco PA's.  The 75/76 edition was pulled by a GS-4 in special paint scheme.  BTW, the Blue Goose pulled heavyweight's in Pullman Green.  The HO and O-27 sets with streamlined blue cars are pretty, but not prototypical.  I don't thinl I've ever seen a "J" in anything but black and maroon.

Thank you for the information. I have been looking on th eweb but can't find much.

Just like trying to find some of the specialty tools for Sgauge & O/O27 for repair work.

I do have a wheel press & cups, rivit set & E-unit tools comming from toy train restoration products & Vic panza. Great guy to deal with I would recomend him for some of your tool needs.

Did you try doing a web search with Google, etc ?

Also try looking on some of the auction sites, E-Bay etc, I've seen them in the past.

I would like to know if the Blue Goose set & the American Freedom Train set is around any where I would like to find them in 3 rail., I am looking for the American Freedom train one with the J-class steamer for motive power.

Would like to have a complete set of each, or know if they are even availible. I do not care who made(Lionel, Weaver, Williams, K-Line or MTH)  it as long as it looks good & is in working order.

Thank you for the information.
