Anvils and Roll Clincher Tools from Train Doctor.com
Posted by kpolak on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 12:18 PM

I  was searching for flex cable, and came upon Anvils and roll Clinchers from Train Doctor.com (Brasseur Electric Trains).  These all have ST-350- part numbers, and are priced lower than similar tools I have run across.

I am just getting into this and have a few pieces that need rivets, repairs and such, and would like to do the repairs myself.  Currently my budget won't accommodate a $200 press.

Does anyone have any experience with these?  Are these considered 'hand tools'?

Thank you,

Kurt

Kurt,

The anvils and roll clinchers are made to be used with the rivet press.  I never thought about using them as hand tools.  They might work well that way.  I don't know, I've never tried that myself.
