I have a 2243 and the decal is in pretty bad shape on the nose - in fact it looks like it had come apart at one point and an attempt was made to reposition. It looks bad - I can get a decal but have been reading the red and silver paint on these postwar shells can come off with even a little water?? So has anyone had any luck replacing these - if so how - or should I just leave it alone - also I need TWO TCA members to recommend me for the TCA app - any suggestions??
