Try out some FasTrack for a change. Looks good with just about any engine! I've run old Marx engines on it, too (but make sure there's no switches on the loop!).
Long live the BNSF .... AND its paint scheme. SchemerBob

Well, $100 could get a new Lionel Dockside 0-6-0, or an RMT Beep and caboose, or a three car set of 6464 boxcars,  or a Williams 44 ton engine (on sale) . . .
. . . or you could go for used equipment, or maybe some sort of accessorie . . .
. . . or save it towards a more expensive purchase.

$100 BIRTHDAY PRESENT WHAT TO GET?? HELP!
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 5:18 PM

My wife just gave two fresh $50 bills to spend on a "memorable train piece" - well if I can still add that's 100 BUCKOS - should I get something new or an old piece? - I mostly like Lionel (and am growing my collection) but am open to other suggestions - I plan on making color copies of the 2 bills and somehow displaying them on/in the new piece(s) - so I'm open to suggestions and reasons why - thanks guys!
