If you're interested in tin, check out http://www.toyandtrainguides.com/ -- longtime Marx collector Walt Hiteshew published a thorough guide on CD for 6-inch tin and Joy Line (early Marx trains from the '30s).

Volume 1 covers steam and 6 inch cars.  Volume 2 covers diesels sets, scale cars, and plastic (I think).  Different editions may vary.

Marx Reference Books/Sources?
Posted by pgtr on Saturday, October 21, 2006 9:40 AM
I'm looking for good reference info on Marx trains such as model #s, years offered, maybe variations, etc...

What is the difference between Greenberg's Marx books Volumes I, II etc?

Any other books anyone suggests?

Or good reference websites?

Thanks
