 Bachmann made the Orient Express sets in 1985. They origanally costed at $125.00. Hope that helps.

I hope someone on this forum has an idea about HO train sets because I only run O. However, you might try the sister forum below.  They usually know HO a bit better.

First hi, I am just getting back into trains after many years. My question is. I found a Bachmann orient express classic collectors series train set today. Still with box etc.Does any one know when this was made?and how much it originally cost and what it may be worth today? Thanks for any help. P.s if any one is into lionel I came across what i think is a bonanza of them at a local second hand store(Bremerton Wa area) where they have been sitting in the back for ten plus years i think she said. This is where I found this train set and other H.O scale stuff
