Lionel Operating Horse Corral using Fastrack

I just purchased the Operating Lionel Horse Car and Corral and want to set it up using the Fastrack system.  Do I need the fastrack operating track or accessory activator pack?  It is a post-war celebration series production that was manufactured in 2003 or 2004.  I was not sure how to hook this up.  The directions do not indicate how to use it with the fastrack system.  Thanks.

The FastTrack operating track section allows for the removal of the side ballast pieces but this still may not narrow the track down to where it will accomodate all of the operating cars.  You can use FastTrack to O-31 adapter and use a standard O operating track.
