OK, I have seen the Divco CTT delivery truck a few times in CTT issue photos, and also in a recent posting of a certain yankee who sent a special present to a fellow REB. Now, I know I would want one of these on my layout, and I suspect that I am not the only one. The question now is, is there enough interest in these to see if we could get either a re-issue, or perhaps even a new one that would add to the collection of those fortunate ones who have one of the originals? If you are interested, please post so that we can show the guys at CTT what interest there is and if they think it would be feasable to make them available.
If you have one of the old ones that you would like to see go to a good home, I am interested in buying it. Please email me.
Thanks,
Dennis

Dennis....I bought the last two from DieCast. Sold one to that "certain Yankee" who passed it on to a REB. They are not making anymore, as last was told to me. Price : n/a

Absolutely!
Looking at the above photos, I am jealous! I am not sure what it would take to get these made, but I hope that we find a way. Bob Keller, Please chime in with suggestions.

So many roads, so little time.
Sure, I'd be good for a couple too. Or should that be two also? Anyhow, that fifties look is right in the beginning of my memory bank............................
I'll tell you, when Chuck told me about the Divcos, I was so fascinated ! I remember just so clearly our milkman, who's name was Ben, delivering milk to our door when I was little, & sometimes my Mom would have me go out & get something extra & I could look inside his truck !! I thought that was really something !! Anyway here is a sight for Divcos, with alot of info. These trucks are still popular today & guys are restoring them ! Plus some history here !!

Dave, thank for posting the photo, did not even know they had one of those. If that was the 15th anniversary, that means that the 20th would be coming up soon. I think that would be a perfect time to introduce a new CTT delivery truck. I think most would like the 50s era type truck as you can always have a old truck in the scene, but someone modelling the 50's could not have a new truck.
Thanks,Dennis

Me too. In S scale -- 1/64 or 3/16" to one foot.
Another couple sold here! I have a couple of the Lionelville Farms Divco trucks, they look great with the crates of milk, and like many here it would be great to get the CTT version.
Neil B. wrote:Hey guys, Dennis is correct, the magazine's 20th anniversary is 2007. Something is already in the works, but all of the details aren't final yet. Neil Besougloff editor
Neil, thanks for posting and please do keep us informed. I think these trucks and perhaps a CTT rail car would be great to have. I know you can't release information before it's time, but I sure hope the anniversary is marked with some unique offerings.
ThanksDennis
I too would be interested in a CTT vehicle of some sort.
