Do you have the proper pins in the proper place, example are the insulated pins where the instruction sheet says they need to be?  Have you wired the switch correctly? Lastly are you tracks far enuff apart that it doesn't spark across the track at the connections?

Are you using DCS-2 system or TMCC?  If so turn off the digital command and see what happens.

Switch Question
Posted by M1Tanker on Saturday, September 2, 2006 9:36 PM

Ok guys - maybe you an tell me how to solve this problem.  I am using MTH 042 switch (Real Trax).  Everytime the engine goes over it, the switch is thrown.  I thought it was the problem with a switch so I replaced a switch but shortly after running for a while 2 nite, the same thing happened again.  In all my years of model railroading I have never had something like this - hence my asking for help.

Thanks!
