Not worth that much in the Greenberg's Price Guide, under $12.00 for either one.  Have to be careful about wiring the uncoupling track as the operating car may get power throw each pickup shoe, negative thru one and positive thru the other. Prewar stuff usually gets the positive power thru a pickup shoe and the wheels supply the negative to the frame. Bought an operating cattle car but had to return to the seller as it was too much trouble for me to figuire out what was going on with it, sometimes it would work other times it wouldn't work at all, tried moving the position over the unloading track, an increase in power, nothing worked.

It is intended for the electromagnetic couplers used in the first years after WWII, as well as for operating cars that use the same pickup shoes as those couplers.  It is useless for the magnetic couplers used since then and for the operating cars with a similar mechanism.

is anyone familiar with the lionel 0-27 remote control track 1019-2?  Since it doesn't have the 'magnet' i the center, does it operate differently than the other models ---think they are 6019.

thanks
