Wow!  That must have been exciting!  What is the title of the movie?  Is there anybody well-known starring in it?

Congrats casconi!!!!  What a thrill that must have been.

I thought my Christmas layout was going to be shot in 2004 as part of a video that a local radio talk show host (Rob Pratte) was thinking of making of Pittsburgh's Christmas layouts.  I remember how excited I was that someone would even CONSIDER mine!  The video never happened though.

Actually having it done, wow!

Please be sure to let us know the title of the movie and release date when you know it.  It is a good thing to see trains being added to movies and TV programs, gives the exposure that has been lacking in recent years.

My Trains In A Movie

An independent film that is based on my hometown used my house for some of the shots. When the director saw the trains, he wanted to shoot a scene including my layout. Although nothing elaborate, he loved that "nostalgic" feel. So, I put a 681 steamer with some boxcars and a 2343 with the aluminum passenger on the tracks for the shoot. The actor runs the trains a uses TMCC. It was great - a real honor. I just thought I would share!

The movie will be out next year and submitted to film festivals.
