Great Photos of the incline in Pittsburgh.  I have eaten at a restaurant at the top of the incline and the view is great.  I too, need to visit Carnegie.

Wait until after Thanksgiving to make the trip. There will be a major change/addition to this layout when renovations are completed this fall. It will without doubt be even more fabulous.

Hello All!  Bob- You did a very nice job on that #655 Boxcar. It looks sharp & better than ever. CSXJohn- Those are nice Budd Cars that you bought from Charlie.They should look nice on your layout. Hey, I hope that Camel you took a photo of knows that Smoking is bad for his health & went Cold Turkey! Buckeye- I hope that NS knows that Their Trains are contraband in Ohio & subject to searches for Grits & Sweet Tea. Take Care all.

Here's video of our own Spankybird running a couple trains at the museum ! I think the inner set is a Lego type. Should be able to click on. I'll double check that it works !

The rarely seen 2-0-2 with flangeless wheels.

WOW !! All great pictures & I hope KBlester can give us some more info on the flangeless eng. !! 

Actually a 2-0-4 since it has dual wheels under the fire box. I think it is part of a work train because it pulls this crane to keep putting it back on the rails. Notice it derailed at the switch stand.

 This parade train is on display in front of the Train / Hobby store in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

Glad to see you made to Gilbert's.  Did you get to Carver's Toyland?  Any good deals?  BTW Steven Heffner whose name is on the crane is the guy who bought out my favorite train shop  -    B & E Junction and then moved it to York.  Not sure if he still runs the train shop.

Here's some more progress on the museum layout, the S-gauge benchwork is going up above the 0-gauge ! Here's Tom & Doug !!       

Her's my new MPC, B&O, RDCs !! They are really in mint condition or like new !!

  

Now here is a Camel I took a picture of on my way to the museum !! There was a baby Camel in there too !

 OK,this will be my first attempt at posting photos since the upgrade.  If you can see the photos, I think I got the scale perfect but am missing the third rail.

Actually, this engine is currently located in the local NS yard in Albany, GA.  Thought it was neat to see.  I have more photos, but will wait to post.

 Hello All!   Tom - Interesting photo's of the MTH H.O. Engine. On our computer screen the light from the headlight looks like a laser beam projecting from the lenses.Does it show up like this on anyone else's computer? Nice Photo's as always.

I had the camera on the wrong setting. It had a very slight time delay on it.

Look what we found in Ohio!

Coal train heading down the Ohio River and yes that is coal dust blowing off the top of the cars.   After about 100 miles at speed the coal dust is much less.

Here are some before and after photos of the pre-war 655 that I repainted this week.

Looks a tad better in it's original paint scheme.  Don't know whether to tackle the other box car or the passenger cars next.  I love to figure out a way to lift off the coat of orange without damaging the lithographed tin underneath.

these were taken on the museum's HO layout.

Work continues on the museum's tin plate layout

and work also continues on the large O gauge layout. the center leg bench work is well under way.

My first time starting this post! Anyone else listen to Blue Grass? I've got it tuned in to NPR right now and coincidentally as I'm typing this, the song Life is Like a Mountain Railroad is on right now!

I'm wrapping up my article and photos for my Garden RR magazine today. I'm putting a photo of Scratch B Rules' Tower in the lineup and mentioning his name; hope it's OK. Haven't heard from him for a while. It's not this photo but a much better one I'm submitting...
