Instructions for Post-war Accessories
Posted by Dr.Fu-Manchu on Tuesday, September 2, 2003 3:59 AM
If you folks are buying Post-War Accessories like I am on E-Bay, we are
lucky to get a bargain. The problem is that the instruction sheets have been
lost in time. Now, since I have a repair manual I can fix them, but I have to
use trial & error to use them. As I was going thru my other repair books, I found
that K-Line's O & O27 trains Operation Book, #K-1 has reprinted Instruction
sheets. I had just bought a #3662 cattle car & stockyard. And after using the
tune-up article in CTT, I was ready to test it. Problem was no Instructions!
The K-Line book was a big help!!! I recomend it to anyone who is using
post -war gear without instructions. Also, The K-Line Lionel Repair Book
is helpful.
