RFD Rail Shows
Posted by luther_stanton on Wednesday, July 5, 2006 10:05 AM
Since there was mention of DIY's Working on the Railroad show, there may also be interest in RFD's weekly series at 6pm (Eastern Time) every Monday that features a train related show.

In the past they have shown footage from various railroading events such as various rail fairs in the USA, Chinese steam, South African steam, etc. Most recently they have been showing some Herron Rail videos.

Luther, they also have the TMC series on I Love Toy Trains, and others. They used to have "The Train Show". On the History Internation channel, they have a program called "Voyages" and about 50% of the time it is on trains. Today it was on Trains of War. Pretty good shows, and I would encourage the group to email them to keep them on.

If you have Direct TV (satelite service) you can go to the search feature and look up when any program comes on, type in the name of the program you want to watch and Direct TV will tell you when it airs if it is a Direct TV channel that you receive. GO TO programs to record, can even get a season pass, not the channel guide, channel guide will help you with the channel number.
