That's neat Jim! Now if only we can get Bruce Webster to fix up a Corvair with Munster & CTT decoration on it. Now that would be super! & Bob Keller would really have something to show at Corvair Conventions & at York![;)][:)][:o)]

Do you think the price will still be $69.95 ??? I'll bet Ready Made Toys could build it for that much, and make it a fun train., and a great deal.

The CREEP! That's great!

I'm really thinking about this -- but here's the thing, if you read closely it sounds to me like the loco + tender is (essentially) $70, plus another $70 for each car???? So really about $210 for the set? Anybody else coming up with this figure? That's a little steep, depending on how good these look in real life. I'm not sure, but it looks like a lot of decals involved on the Munsters train....

I assumed these are made by Bachman. The track looks like EZ track....

I got the same conclusion.

The advert shows the complete four unit set with a very prominent price posted. But the kicker here is the term "per issue". Reading further, they mention two additional "issues" which contain the two cars and then the track and transformer.

All together, the total price comes out to 3x$69.95 plus 3x$8.99 S&H.

According to my Mickey Mouse calculator watch, the REAL cost for this outfit is $236.84 delivered!

I wonder how many suckers fell for this?

I think I'll pass!

I might watch for these on Ebay - might be able to get a better price. I don't need their track or transformer - I've got a bunch of EZ track and 2 or 3 transformers in the basement in a box somewhere...

I like the Munsters and the Nightmare Before Xmas stuff, but all together the $$$ is way to much for me rite now. I agree in waiting for the stuff on ebay. No doubt bits and pieces will show up over the next couple years. Maybe even on one of the half price blowout web sites down the road. I like the fact that they're doing these though, even if it's On30. Instead of just HO. They'll be a cool addition after I've added a couple loops of On30 track to the layout.
