In most cases a BFH will do the trick. Might take a couple swipes but it will get you there.

Wecome to the forum[#welcome]

You can get into the CW-80 but it requires a special triangle shaped screwdriver, as the screws are tamper proof.
You could make one with a bench grinder to fit from a normal philips head, if you can't find one in the shops.

If its still under warranty try contacting Lionel they were very helpful
when ours went wrong.

Note: If its the bell or whistle button the aparent stuck button can be down
to mains power frequency if your outside the US. The circuits malfunction
on 50Hz

Regards
Nick

Hello all.

The middle button on our CW-80 is stuck. Anyone know how to get into one of these?
