There are small tabs on each end of the rubber insulators, On the pantograph base there is a hole in each corner. With a gentle pushing and twisting motion the rubber insulator tab will enter the hole and stay put. The pantograph with four insulators installed is lined upwith the bosses on the GG-1 Casting and then the spring center is pressed into the contact on the roof.
It sounds harder than it is.. Sometimes repro insulators don't fit quite right in the pantograph holes. a little dab of rubber cement will stick these on. Don't use too much or the solent will attack the insulators.
