Gargraves Track

Ross track is really nice. Along with the wooden ties you get spikes for each tie and you loose the below the tie "webbing" of the Gargraves rails. They also have a great foam road bed product that works with their own track, gargrves and Atlas.

Although more expensive. If you are using large radius might want to check Ross Curves. I used the Ross curve sections for the radius O84 and greater.
I also used VinylBed which made curving the gargraves much easier. Might want to invest in their "how to" video.

Just a little info on GarGraves track that I know of; the 042 curves are closer to 43.25 inches, the 032 curves are closer to 33.25 inches, there are 10 inch straights and 37.25
inch straight sections-go to the GarGraves web site for more information. Also GarGraves just came out with insulating pins. The track is very realistic looking, only one draw back-a derailment may easily damage the rails of GarGraves track, the rails damage easier than 027 track.

tex702, I have formed Gargraves my self ,it is not that hard and is very forgiveing. You will have to square up the end's when your finished. You should be able to do it on the trestle it self. Give it a try . Mike

Wooden ties look pretty sharp. Plastic ties beat a poke in the eye.....

Buy Gargraves sectional curved track. It comes in many different radii. Check their website, everything they make is listed on their site. I believe it comes with both plastic and wooden ties.

Ok, lets go at this from another direction. Two wooden trestles designed for Fast Track but have changed my mind and want Gargraves now. Im not really excited about bending my own curved track but if I must I guess I can give it a try. I am an idiot when it comes to bending track especially when I have never done it before and for the amount of straight track that I must buy for these trestles, it scares me that I might ruin the track. Any suggestions?
