Has anyone herd when MTH plans to up grade there proto system?

protosound 3 is now being used on HO engines.

I do not believe that MTH has made any announcements on upgrades to 'O' gauge.

What needs to be upgraded? There are so many features built into PS-2 that I still haven't made use of many of the things that system is capable of. What do folks see a need for that's missing from the current PS-2?

I think I read on the MTH website that the PS-3 system has doppler effect...now that would be neat on an O scale model!

PS-2 engines with current DCS already has doppler effect, and yes it is very neat. [:D]

2 Words.... WIRELESS THETHER! That is what PS3 has over PS2.
