HELP
Posted by dennyblock on Monday, May 22, 2006 7:28 PM
Anyone have ideas on how to get a 20 year old kid to move out so I can have a train room?[:D] I just picked up a cheap 1400 Lionel steamer & 8050-T tender to try my hand at painting so I don't ruin something nice. Color suggestions and patterns? And how many drops of smoke fluid should I use? Thanks, Denny

Welcome to the forum Denny. Been down that road about 15 yrs. ago. Told him he better get a job since he has to start paying room and board. If he wanted to eat and clean laundry it was going to cost. Didn't take long till he moved in with a buddy and then they both hit the road and became surf bums.

Good luck.

Denny,
Not there yet, mine are 3 and 1, so this is just a thought. Start with rules, aspiring adults hate to be told what to do. Then, as Roger suggests, job, rent, cleaning duties. As to smoke fluid, try 4 drops. Make sure that it does not form a bubble in the stack. You can pop the bubble, but just make sure that the fluid goes into the smoke element.
