Thanks Lionelsoni, for the correction. And the real stupidity is that even in my native language a trolley has a pole on the roof and the other things are named trams.
Well, I guess, trolleys and trams are not really my cup of tea, but I like the fact that a new brand is trying.
Phillyreading, the Euro/USD rate jumps up and down with the month. Now the Euro has climbed to almost 1.30 USD/Euro and it starts to become time for me to purchase some more Lionel stuff on Ebay. Earlier this year the exchange rate was only 1.15. We will see what the future brings.

The price you mentioned is in Euros, what does that equal in U.S. dollars?

Those trams remind me of some of the photos that David took on his honeymoon. They really look sharp. Check out their accessories including the four track tram barn. Thank you for sharing the link.

May I make a small nit-picking correction? I believe that, strictly speaking, to be a trolley, a streetcar must have a trolley pole. So, in American, those are streetcars and, in British, they are trams.

Lehnhardt is a new German brand in tin plate 0 guage (1:43.5) trolleys.

I noticed that quiet a few people discuss trolleys on this forum and mention Lionel, ETS and other names. Because all Lenhardt's information is in German, I thought it would be nice to inform US-trolleys fan of this new brand. I have no relationships with them whatsoever, but I am tempted to try and buy a tin-plate station building from them.

Lehnhardt started in 2004 making remakes of prewar type tin plate trolleys. They now make also tinplate buildings and various types of trolleys.
Unfortunately they are currently still Germany-focussed and their website is 100 % German, but the pictures are nice ( http://www.dr-lehnhardt.de/bahn/index.htm ).

A Dutchmen claims to have bought a starter set for only 234 Euro, which is a fair price ( http://home.hetnet.nl/~rkievit/blik/lehnhardt/bliktram.html ) for such a good looking set.

The trolleys run on DC 15 Volt max, 0.2 Ampere. Their standard trolleys are two rail and they claim to produce three rail versions on request.

I hope that are going to make some more trolleys and buildings, it appears attractive to me. Nasty though that they do not give price indications on the web. The complete factory now employs 30 people, but I guess that only 1 or 2 will work in the toy trolley department. Let's hope that will enrich the 0 guage toy-trolley scene for many years to come.
