Thanks for the help Jamie. I finally figured it out. The outter 2 terminals on the switch went to 1 & 2 on the AIU. The center terminal on the switch went to the A terminal on the transformer and then the U terminal on the transformer went to In on the AIU. Certainly not documented well by Atlas or MTH.

THe in on the sw port of an AIU is for the ground or power depending on the way you wire the switch. I would think it would be the ground from your transformer if your using track power. I haven't wired an Atlas switch so I'm not 100%sure. The red and green leds will attach to 1 and 2 on the AIU. test one then reverse the r/g as nessecary.

On my Ross switches I ran the power to the In terminal and the ground directly to the transformer from the switch machine.

Hope this helps.

How Do You Wire

Not being electrical minded I am stumped. Can anyone tell me how to wire an Atlas -O 54 Turnout to a MTH AIU system. There are 3 terminals on the turnout and 3 on the AIU for 1 turnout. I also assume that a wire needs to go to the transformer but I can't figure out the combination.

Thanks for any help.
