Nice Bargain At Wal-Mart
Posted by Frank53 on Saturday, April 15, 2006 9:23 PM
Wal Mart has a tendency to have the same stuff everywhere, so here's a heads up for a bargain I found there today while picking up some Krylon.

Vintage indian motorcycles. I found six different ones, but only four really appealed to me. They are about 1/43, or close enough in my opinion.

I think it looks super good and really nice detail. They are of the time period I am seeking - late 30's early 40's or earlier, as most bikes I could find would be out of place time-wirse on my layout.

Here are the other three I picked up.

Funny thing is, if these were licensed Harley Davidon, they would probably be $19.95.

These are $1.97

Unreal. If you like this stuff, hit Wal-Mart soon, as this is the kind of stuff they get, sell, and don't get more of.

Wow - 2 bucks! Hard to find motorcycles in 1/43 or any scale really. Thanks for the heads-up.

True, until MTH came out with a 1:43 set of 4 a few months ago. There are plenty of 1:32 on the market, which I think the Wal-Mart ones are. I have a few 1:32's "parked", but they look too large with 1:48 figures on them. Great detailing, however. Then there is the Arttista 1:48, but it does'nt have the detailing. Joe
