Frank53,

As always I am very impressed with the progress on your layout and the structures you build. I wish I had been smart enough to use my camera to document my layout building.[:(]

Keep up the great work.

Looks great. You could also build a stack of old RR ties and make it a burning pile. or make a pot bellied stove with smoke. No matter what you do, it is impressive.

Next to the water tower, for which I just built a deck to conceal the plastic base, I wanted to put a work shack and was going to use a plasticville hobo shack, but it looked to predictable, so I cut little itty bitty pieces of wood for a few days instead.

I built this at an angle to be butted against the wall at an angle where the eventual viewer sees the full front.

Lots of gluing and cutting and trimming and painting ten minutes at a time for a couple of days and we get a work shack.

Or a place for the Municipal workers to play checkers - but definately one of the two.

Once I get the roadbed down on both levels in this corner, I am going to add a backdrop, trees and ground cover. I also want to add an interior light to the shack, and possibly a light on a power pole of some sort.

Also need either a chimney for this or a smoke stack.
