Teflon Silicone Lubricant is good for...

(by DuPont). Picked up a stray bottle with straw. Is this good for something? Gears? Lubricating axles to help resist rust in rolling stock used outside?

says: Waterproofs, protects and safely lubricates rubber, plastic, metal, wood, vinyl, leather; helps prevent rust and corrosion. Good on snowshovels (read that, toy train snow plows plowing real snow).

This DOES contain petroleum distillates, sooooo, how could it be good for plastics, ABS, etc like it says?

Am I missing something here?

(didn't see any Labelle's)
