Thanks John.
I'm beginning to think thats a good idea. If I have to drive out to a dealer , thats alright,
I just retired. (The nearest dealer is 51 miles away).
Man I love this hobby.

Hello Rueben:

I am a newbie myself on these boards, so I am far from the most knowledgable. However, since your unit is still in warranty, why don't you take it to an authorized repair facility? My understanding is that they will repair it on site and you will not have to wait an inordinate amount of time.

My local hobby shop is an authorized repair facility and they take care of 99% of the items that are brought in.

Regards,

John

I have a Lionel # 6-38076 scale size Berkshire. I've had it several months and I have just notice that the flickering red light in the fire box is not working. Do you guys have any ideas as how to fix it. I hate to send it back to Lionel and have to wait 18 weeks to get it back (I know it still is in warrenty)
Thanks ahead for any ideas.
Reuben
