Name locations on your layout?

I've been inspired by prototype railroad practice to name or number every little thing on the layout - it makes it seem larger somehow - like my trains are actually going somewhere. If you do so, what are some of the names you use or practice you follow?
I have 'Junction' - inspired by the JTC of my first two streetcars - even though the J really stood for Johnstown. , 'Union', 'Girard' (Marx station), Mt. Seaman, Tredegar Iron Works, Eagles Ridge - I have a few farms still to name, a crossing, the yard.

Our layout is called the Jumijo RR in honor of my three kids. JU-lia MI-chael, and JO-hn.

The farm in my signature photo is named John's Farm, in honor of my youngest son.



Below is the St. Mary River, in honor of my wife, who complained that she couldn't see the river in back of the train station.





This image shows a mountain on our layout. The native Americans called it Mount Hockalooie. The settlers call it Mount Meenow, in honor of the first Govenor, Tuck Meenow.[;)][:p]

On my On30 switching layout, I have Davenport and Argyle River (using the intials D A and R from my three children).

My still in the planning stages O-27 layout will use the town names of the old Marx stations I have collected - Girard, Oak Park, Wheaton, and Glendale, plus the town of Oceanside (based on a Hallmark tin station I have).

I'll probably have a lake, pond or river to name, plus a mountain (hopefully). Not sure what I'll call them yet.

Let's see; Hound River Canyon, Beagle Lake, Rabbit Run, Bone Mountain Range, etc.
