Need Instruction Manual For Lionel TW Transformer
Posted by danrunner on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 1:01 AM
I need an instruction manual for a Lionel TW transformer. Lionel's website only supports current models--no files for this or older products.

Does anyone have a copy they'd be willing to scan and send to me? Or show me a site where I can download it? I'd greatly appreciate it. My basement flooded after the radon guys installed a new system (thanks). I had a transformer on the floor. It got wet/ruined. i picked up a TW, but want to read the instructions and do it right.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Dan

This may help. Although it is more a repair schematic, the text on the first page may answer your questions about hooking it up to the right binding posts.

I just bought a refurbished TW on Ebay. It included a copy of the (all too brief) instruction manual. I would be glad to scan it and e-mail it to you.

Jo, Terry, thanks for your help.

Jo, Thanks. Did you buy it today or receive it today?

I will send it to you tonight

When I get home this evening, I will scan and e-mail it. I do not have a .pdf writer, so the scan will probably be in a .tiff format. I hope that is okay. I will see if I can save it as a .jpeg or a .gif for easier viewing and printing.

I purchased the transformer about two weeks ago on Ebay. The seller lives not too far away from me, so I was able to pick it up. Apparently, the seller regularly refurbishes Lionel transformers. The one I got has worked so well, that I am considering another.

JO -- wondering if you could send me a copy of the manual as well?  I just inherited a postway lionel with a TW transformer.

Thanks again...
