Have you tried copper tubing? It comes in increments of 1/8 inch in the sizes you're probably looking for. The nominal sizes are 1/8 inch less than the actual outside diameter for plumbers, but are the actual outside diameter for air-conditioning guys.

HO boiler help!!
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, July 24, 2003 11:57 PM
I am kitbashing a small 2-6-2 logging prairie with a low profile boiler and cant seem to find a suitable donor... [:(]. I have looked at PVC piping but its just too large or too small with nothing in between. Anybody got any ideas on what I could try doing? Or anyone got any old donor boilers I may be able to buy for a good price?? Any input is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Aaron
