Where do I go to get replacement Lionel parts? I need a replacement plastic truck frame for my NP 8679 GP20,,(powered truck).

Having just gotten back into the hobby, I've been wondering about this as well. I plan on buying items on Ebay and swapmeets and redoing them. Hence, I'm sure I'll need parts, etc. Have you ever read CTT? I just got one a couple days ago, and there are many advertisers that have replacement parts listed, many with internet sites.

I know www.trainrepairparts.com seems to be a good start. I've just started purusing the site. I have no ties or interests in this place other than my own research. Perhaps others will pipe in as well with their own favorite places...

Check out the "Library" at Olsens.(Click from the home page.) If you appreciate this wonderful resource give them some positive feedback on the link they provide; and/or buy some parts from them.

Sometimes you can find a part simply by "Googling" it. Knowing the part number and name certainly helps, and this is where the Library at Olsen's can be a lifesaver. For example, when looking for a replacement "bulb" try "lamp," which is actually the correct term.
