Carl: me too. I often use the arrow in the "last poster" column to take me to the last post and work backwards. Or I click on the final page.
That's one of the improvements I'd like to see. The other is a flag that I've posted in a thread.
Just figured out the last bit myself: a yellow file folder instead of purple.

Forum Question

OK; I've snooped around the website a bit, but I can't find an answer to a question on forum use.

In other forums of which I'm a member, when I click on an unread topic, the forum software takes me to the latest unread message.

On *this* forum, whenever I click on a previously read topic, the software drops me at post 1 in the topic. - which is a real PITA on topics like "the coffeepot is always on" that has 750+ pages of replies.

What preference am I not setting?

Thanks;
Carl
