I think that you will see a lot of K-Line go for less in the short run as many dealers purchased bulk stock when K-line was trying to make a last ditch effort to raise fast funds. It is also a fact that many of the products have a issue with warranty, so if you do get a "great deal" on a locomotive, etc, and you have problems, repair may be the owner's own fix.
As for collector's values and increase, I doubt that you will see any kind of huge return on investment. The products these days are too similar and for the most part, have too much production. Some limited productions, may be the exception.

Overall, some of the prices may go down in the short terms, but I imagine a lot of their items will go up in value in the longer term as they become harder to find (and assuming they are not offered by anyone else). K-Line collectors will probably do fairly well a few years from now, as well.

I picked up a K-line Ford dealer at a show 2 weeks ago from a guy who had all K-line stuff half off list.

I watch the K-Line Milwaukee stuff they have produced in recent years. I have not noticed any real change!

I've noticed some of the reefers drop a little but not significantly.

Just wondering if anyone has seen any real price changes in K-Line items. I haven't seen any real price changes, but it seems like all of the dealers in my area are putting out ALL of there K-Line stock. Where as before; they didn't seem to have as many K-Line items.

Also, what do you think about these items becoming "Collector's Items". I was in a shop yesterday and that's all the owner could say about the K-Line stuff. "They went out of business." "You're not going to be able to get those anymore." Made me a little suspicious.

What have you noticed?
