DCS Availability
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 7:27 PM
I am kinda wondering if I should order a DCS system pretty soon....another forum I read that the DCS set was kinda scarce to get right now. Not sure if this is true, but I should check with my local shops first to see if I can order one by chance. Would really suck to miss out on getting one of these because of non-availability.

A local dealer got one for me about a month ago, from his distributor. No mention of a problem.

just be sure it's a newer H or I rev TIU. there beefier. I can't imagion an old G still out there. THe new Remote has a different thumb wheel that work a little better. The new ones were due in Feb but delayed until May.

I just checked with two of my local hobby shops today....neither place have any available and from what I was told, there's no telling when there will be anymore available to order because there was no projected date on its availability according to the MTH website. Talking about being scarce.

Should've gotten one before all that lawsuit crap started. Now it looks it will be a LONG time before I will be able to get one. So pretty much I done missed out. [:(]

Thanks for the link Tom. I did a new search and there's one store about a half hour north of me that has one set in stock. I'll stop by this weekend to check it out.

I talked to MTH yesterday via telecon, asked about DCS they said they will have them in the next month. Current shortage was due to Chjristmas and holiday rush. Also that they do have the aiu in stock.
