Hello Mick! & [#welcome] To the forum! 1688s use a # 432 Light Bulb which has a large globe & a screw in base! Warren's Model Trains has both old & new versions of this bulb (The old ones came from the Madison Hardware Auction a few years ago) Just go to their website & check them out or if you're lucky to have a Train/Hobbyshop near you, Then they should have some in stock.
