Who's loco's produce the most smoke and chuff out the stack ?

I have an MTH Railking L3A Mohawk and a Lionel Lionmaster J3A Hudson, both do excellent for smoke but the Mohawk hands down will literally run you out of the room! It's an awesome site.

I think MTH takes the cake on my Pennsy baby Turbine it fills the room with smoke within minutes and I have to shut off the smoke unit!

Speaking of smoke.I want to thank the guy who suggested the purchase of Propylene Glycol from the local drug store. It's an oil base liquid. When you add about 4 drops down the stack,the engine smokes enough to set off smoke detectors. It cost 10.00 for a pint compared to 14.00 to 2 ounces of the regular stuff. Non toxic & hasn't harm smoke element. Easter

I vote for MTH, although my K-line Bershire can go heavy on the smoke.

That has been the only good feature from MTH with the engines that I owned, the smoke units. Both of the boards shot, but I loved the smoke. By the way, which Large Scale convention did you go to? The one in York? The show is coming again in 24 days, and I will be there with my garden RR club. If you go, stop by the South Eastern PA Garden RR Society.

I did see some MTH steamers at a Large Scale convention , and they did smoke quite well , so I wondered in this size of locos , what smoked the best ?

My vote would go to MTH. Fill the stack with smoke fuid and it blasts smoke like you cant believe.

I am 2 weeks , or to say it another way , 2 steam locos into O / O-27 size trains [:p] , after 50 years in other scales /sizes [:)], and would like to know which mfr's steam loco's have the most smoke generated and the most exhaust chuff of smoke ?
The sounds systems are so good to hear , and I want to get a real smoke produceing / exhausting steamer .
