Have you tried doing a Google search of those cars? Often times you can find a dealer with particular items in stock.

I've had some success on eBay. eBay is always buyer beware. You just have to set a firm price in your mind before you start bidding, otherwise you end up paying way too much. You might also consider buying a copy of O-Gauge Railroading and Classic Toy Trains and checking out the events listed in them. I've also found some decent things at a local train show.

Looking for #2434 Newark and #2436 Summit Observation Silver Pullman cars in Excellant condition. Ideas where I can find abundance of post-war?
