Some Old Train Pics
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, February 25, 2006 10:10 AM
I dug up some old train pics for a layout I did when I lived in Cleveland....these were taken with a webcam (long before I was able to get a digital camera) of a train that seems busy.

Of course, I know some of you may poke fun at me because of the fact that there's not any scenery in these pics as I didn't know much about makin any scenery, but here they are regardless. The key word is fun.

Hey Chris,

A floor layout is where it all starts (and continues for many)!

Good photos!

Hey Chris,
Nice photos. Don't worry about the lack of scenery. Even when you do get into the scenery, the layout will never be "done" Always more to do, play with. Have fun and try different things. You will find talent you didn't know you had.

Rug runners are where it all starts, until the dust bunnies and fur balls choke 'em to death.....

Thanks for the compliment. The engine in the pic is the MTH CSX SD-60M. I do have a Santa-Fe Dash-8 diesel also, hasnt been in action for quite awhile though, but working on getting it back in operation (battery replacement and some minor maintenence).
