Marx E-8 wheel size?

Nope, they don't have the fat wheels with gears on, so I guess you can run them through modern switches. These are great engines!

Paul, maybe you could check with that Robt. Grossman Repair parts place. They are in Cleveland Oh. somewhere & I've seen them at train shows. They may have parts that you can see on their web-site that may tell you what you need to know. Hope this helps.

Do the Marx E-8 diesels have the fat wheels with the gears on them? What I want to know is can they be run on modern track and switches? Thanks giz.
