PRR Decapod?
Posted by mickey4479 on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 11:00 PM
I model PRR and have seen MTH catalogs with Railking and Premier versions of the PRR Decapod. Since I have 4 Lionel steamers with TMCC I am patiently waiting for Lionel to produce a Decapod in 1:48 o scale proportions. (I hope someone at Lionel reads this!) My curves and switches are all atlas 072 except for a few in a small yard where I only run a B6s through smaller switches. I understand that the first and last set of drive wheels on the MTH Decapods are flanged while the middle 3 sets are blind. Do any of you have the Premier version and if so how well does it track especially through switches? My Lionel PRR Mountain 4-8-2 negotiates the 072 switches without any problems. Thanks.
